Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: January 2026
- Scope of this policy
- This Refund and Cancellation Policy applies to all CASCers products and services, including live courses, mock CASC stations, small‑group teaching, online programmes, and subscription groups run by MedPsychKH Ltd (company number SC812645).
- By booking or subscribing to any CASCers service, you agree to this policy in addition to our Terms and Conditions.
- Statutory 14‑day cooling‑off period (applies to all our courses)
- If you are purchasing as a consumer and you book online or at a distance, you have a legal right to cancel any CASCers course, programme or subscription within 14 calendar days from the day after your booking is confirmed.
- This 14‑day period applies to all our courses and services and is the minimum cancellation right we offer. We do not offer a shorter contractual cancellation period than this.
- If you ask us to start providing the service during that 14‑day period (for example, by joining a WhatsApp group, attending a live session, or accessing course materials), you acknowledge that:
- You may lose your right to a full refund once the service has been fully provided.
- If you cancel within the 14‑day period after we have started providing the service, we may deduct a reasonable amount from any refund to reflect the value of the sessions, access or materials you have already received.
- How to cancel within 14 days
- To cancel within the 14‑day cooling‑off period for any CASCers course, mock or subscription, you must clearly inform us in writing (email is fine) stating: your name, email address, the course/group name, and the date of booking.
- We will confirm receipt of your request by email and process any refund due as soon as reasonably possible and within 14 days of agreeing the amount.
- Additional rules for live courses and mock packages
This section applies in addition to the 14‑day cooling‑off rights above and covers time‑limited products such as crash courses, masterclasses, and mock CASC packages.
- If you cancel within 14 days of booking:
- The statutory cooling‑off rules in section 2 apply to all such products. Any deduction will be based on the proportion of the course or mock package already delivered to you.
- If you cancel after the 14‑day period has ended:
- We apply the following structure:
- Cancellation 28 days or more before the first scheduled session/mock date: full refund of the course or package fee, minus any clearly identified non‑refundable payment processing fees.
- Cancellation 15–27 days before the first scheduled session/mock date: 50% refund of the course or package fee.
- Cancellation 14 days or less before the first scheduled session/mock date, or after the course has started: no refund, except where required by law or at our discretion in exceptional circumstances (for example, serious illness or bereavement).
- We apply the following structure:
- Non‑attendance (no‑show):
- Failure to attend a booked mock or teaching session does not entitle you to a refund or free rebooking. We may, where possible, offer an alternative slot or access to a recording at our discretion but are not obliged to do so.
- Additional rules for subscriptions and ongoing groups
This section applies in addition to the 14‑day cooling‑off rights above and covers rolling subscription products such as premium WhatsApp groups and ongoing programmes.
- If you cancel within 14 days of your first subscription sign‑up:
- The statutory 14‑day cooling‑off rules in section 2 apply. If you have already had access (e.g. been added to groups, attended sessions, or used materials), we may deduct a reasonable amount for that access from your refund.
- If you cancel after the 14‑day period has ended:
- Subscription payments are generally non‑refundable once a billing period has started.
- You may cancel future renewals at any time by following the instructions on your account page or by emailing us at least 3 working days before your next billing date, so we can stop the next payment in time.
- When you cancel, you will usually retain access to the relevant groups and materials until the end of the period you have already paid for, unless you request immediate removal (in which case no partial refund will be given).
- Cancellations, rescheduling and changes by CASCers
- CASCers may reschedule sessions, change tutors, merge groups, or adjust timetables where reasonably necessary (for example, tutor illness, very low enrolment, or technical issues).
- Where CASCers cancels a course, mock circuit, or programme in full and does not offer a suitable alternative date or equivalent service, you will be entitled to a full refund of the fees paid for that specific product.
- Where CASCers changes only part of a programme (for example, moving one teaching session to a different date or time), we will use reasonable efforts to provide an equivalent alternative. If a reasonable alternative is offered and you choose not to attend, no refund will be due.
- Transfers, substitutions and exam diet changes
- Bookings are personal to you and cannot usually be transferred to another person without our prior written permission.
- Subject to capacity and operational constraints, we may, at our discretion:
- Allow you to transfer your place to another eligible trainee; or
- Move your booking to a later cohort or exam diet (for example, from a January CASC course to a June CASC course), which may involve an additional fee if prices have increased.
- Any transfer options are discretionary and may not be available for all products or close to the course start date.
- How refunds are paid
- Refunds will usually be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction, unless we agree an alternative.
- CASCers is not responsible for delays caused by banks, card issuers, payment processors, or currency conversion, and is not liable for any charges applied by those providers.
