1. Mocks - 8 Stations
Our focused 8‑station mocks are designed for deep feedback rather than just “doing more stations”.
Each circuit is run by Dr Mohammad Hindeyeh and Dr Praveen Kumar, and targets either:
- Morning‑style stations: history, management, capacity and explanation, or
- Afternoon‑style stations: MSE, risk assessment and formulation.
You complete 8 timed stations in exam‑style conditions, then:
- Receive immediate verbal feedback on structure, communication and priorities for improvement.
- Get detailed written feedback the next day, breaking down domains and giving clear actions before your next sitting.
2. Mocks - 16 Stations
The 16‑station mock is a full CASC rehearsal in one sitting.
You rotate through 16 timed stations designed to mirror the real exam, including a mix of assessment, management and communication scenarios.
Faculty and feedback:
- Assessed by Dr Mohammad, Dr Praveen, and two psychiatrist role‑players.
- You receive feedback from all four, combining clinical, communication and examiner perspectives.
- The circuit is recorded so you can review performance later.
- A collated written summary is sent within 4–5 days, highlighting strengths, blind spots and concrete next steps.
3. CASCers Crash Course
The CASCers Crash Course is a 6‑day intensive programme, around 4 hours per day, led by Dr Mohammad and Dr Praveen.
It is accredited by The CPD Certification Service (internationally recognised).
Key features:
- Focus on high‑yield CASC stations and common exam patterns.
- Clear teaching on expected structure, timing and language for each station type.
- Emphasis on communication style (empathy, containment, boundaries) and how examiners apply scoring domains.
Ideal if you want a concentrated boost close to the exam, or as a backbone around which you add mocks and practice.
4. Small Group Masterclass
The Small Group Masterclass (SGM) is a 16‑session course, with 2‑hour sessions and 6 stations per session.
Groups are deliberately small: 6 active candidates plus up to 3 observers, to allow repetitive practice with close supervision.
What happens in SGM:
- Repeated practice of core station types (history, risk, capacity, explaining, management, complex scenarios).
- Step‑by‑step coaching on how to structure a station and how to adapt that structure under time pressure.
- Detailed feedback on communication, clinical reasoning and “exam‑ready” phrasing.
- Accredited by The CPD Certification Service (internationally recognised), supporting your CPD portfolio as well as exam prep.
5. Sunday Practice Sessions (Subscription)
Sunday Practice Sessions run as a monthly subscription: 4 Sundays, 3–6pm UK time.
Each block focuses on 6 stations per week, with new cases each month.
Format:
- Brief intro session led by Dr Mohammad or Dr Praveen outlining the aims and key points for that week’s stations.
- Breakout rooms with 2–3 candidates per room, rotating roles as candidate, role‑player and assessor using scripts and guidance provided that day.
- Whole‑group debrief at the end, bringing everyone back to discuss each station’s communication and technical scoring points.
It’s designed as a consistent, low‑friction way to keep CASC skills sharp between bigger courses and mocks.

The Distinction Pathway is a bundled programme for highly motivated candidates aiming for top performance.
A typical Distinction Pathway includes:

CASCers is designed for doctors preparing for the MRCPsych CASC exam or planning to sit it in the near future.
Most members are psychiatry trainees (core and higher) or non‑training doctors working in psychiatry who want structured CASC preparation and peer support.
CASCers is also a space where we run free webinars and sessions on psychiatry careers and academic pathways in the UK, including portfolio building for core and higher training.
We also welcome international doctors sitting CASC or similar exams who are comfortable working in English in a UK‑style psychiatric context.
For free WhatsApp groups, you simply click the “Join” button on this website.
You will immediately receive the WhatsApp link and can join the group straightaway, without any payment or manual approval.
For subscription groups (for example, Sunday Practice Sessions), you complete a short registration and payment on the site.
Once that’s done, you’ll be given the WhatsApp link or added by the admin so you can access the teaching and practice sessions.

Yes.
You are welcome to join more than one group if it suits your stage and goals – for example, a free CASCers open group, plus a subscription Sunday Practice group and a course‑specific group.
We just ask that you keep messages relevant to each group and do not promote external courses or materials without explicit permission from the admins.
